For my next project i am looking at how sound affects imagery. I have started to do some tests with Cornflour and water, the vibrations form the speaker cause the liquid to harden and dance around creating some really interesting shapes, I aim yo try and form some typography from this but a lot more experimentation is needed. (video coming soon )

Sunday night procrastination, piss about with helvetica!
Helvetica Sunk
Type rotated 10 degreas clockwise then dropped below the baseline slightly, descenders disappear.
Corners
Distorting helvetica using the corner options in indesign. Looks really cool ( Click on image for more detail)
Dot Typeface
I started to experiment with using simple dots to fill a page. This then turned into me producing a typeface from it by removing the required dots to form each letter. Really simple in design. Really messes with your eyes though.
Type Quote
This brief consisted of producing a series of typographic pieces based around a given quote, 'The right word may be effective, but no word is a effective as a rightly timed pause', Mark Twain. I really enjoyed exploring this quote and trying to manipulate type around this to produce the above.
Series of designs i did based on downhill mountain biking
Photoshop Sequence
This brief consisted of selecting two photographs and manipulating them into a transitional sequence fro m one to the other. My selected transition was terror to safety.
The sound of weather
We were given a brief called pocket archive which involved choosing any subject that we had a personal interest in. I chose sticky tape. Through endless experimentation i decided the best way to celebrate this was to produce a stop motion using tape.
Swing Punch Emboss
Drawing machine project based on the actions Swing, Punch, Emboss
Rule the mountain
Series of work i produced for a mountain bike festival called Rule the Mountain
