Type Quote
This brief consisted of producing a series of typographic pieces based around a given quote, 'The right word may be effective, but no word is a effective as a rightly timed pause', Mark Twain. I really enjoyed exploring this quote and trying to manipulate type around this to produce the above. I tried to experiment with the placement and the spacing between the type to portray some of the quotes aspects. The way in which a gap in speech can give emphasis to certain aspects where as continual talking can allow people to loose concentration with information overload. This pause allows them to reflect on what is being said.
